Kirsi - Cardigan (PDF pattern)

$13.00 USD

The Kirsi cardigan is a refined take on a casual cardigan, blending tailored lines with a draped front opening. The front design line curves around the body and through the back waist, complementing the round collar and flared peplum.
There are two lengths to choose from: a longer length ending at mid-thigh, or the shorter peplum length that ends above the hip.
Style the collar open for a waterfall front, or create optional closures for a cozy finish around the neck. You can also cinch the waist with the tie belt.
Kirsi is an easy and quick sew. Mid-weight knit fabric and simple sewing techniques make it a great project for people new to knits. And yet, the curved lines and variety of finishing options will keep it interesting for whatever skill level you are at!

A small amount of lightweight fusible interfacing: You may use pre-made fusible tape, or cut your own (1cm/3/8” wide).

Notions

Thread, 2 pairs of 1cm (3/8”) diameter snap fastenings (also known as press studs, domes, or poppers).

Fabric requirements

The fabric requirements allow for directional prints. Allow extra fabric if lengthening the garment, or matching a large print.
