Hello! Jo here - I'm the designer and creator of Forget-me-not Patterns. Today I’m checking in with an update on how things are going, and why I’m launching a Patreon. Don’t worry, Forget-me-not is still going to be all about sewing patterns! I’m just opening up more ways to support our independent patterns.

Jo here with my new Rosalie skirt! It’s such a fun, twirly skirt that brought me out of my comfort zone, both in terms of style and sewing. I designed Rosalie in collaboration with Peppermint Magazine late last year, so it’s available as a pay-what-you-can download (check it out HERE!) I made this one up in a a plaid and the stripe matching really taught me some lessons!
Knits are versatile, comfortable and easy to wear. And with the right tools and techniques, they’re easy and quick to sew too! Today, we’ll be chatting about my favourite tips for sewing knit fabrics, as well as some handy tools to make sewing a little easier.
Say hello to Kirsi! The Kirsi Cardigan sewing pattern is the perfect layering piece to keep you comfy all year long. With a gorgeous waterfall opening and optional closure, Kirsi is a refined take on a casual knit cardigan.
This tutorial will walk you through one of my favourite types of pockets. This pocket is used on our Valerie raglan dress and the Natalie gored skirt, and creates a lovely diagonal line that makes an elegant style feature. Slash pockets can be a little bit trickier than a standard in-seam pocket due to the bias edges that the diagonal line creates, but I promise you they are really enjoyable to sew, and not too hard!
We're so excited to announce our newest pattern, the Natalie skirt! The Natalie skirt sewing pattern is a classic button-front skirt featuring gored style lines, slash pockets and extra features to mix and match for a perfectly unique creation.
