Important note: This is not a full pattern, just an expansion that works with the Lola blouse and dress pattern.

Add a lovely gathered ruffle to your Lola blouse or dress for a whole new look. This expansion is a fun and easy sew! The ruffle features a shaped crown, so that it falls at a graceful angle on the arm. It's the perfect showcase for all your floaty, lightweight fabrics.

This product is a digital download and includes a printable PDF of the pattern in A4/US Letter size (for printing at home).

Included with the pattern is a fully illustrated instruction booklet with step by step directions to achieving sewing success.

Materials 

Fabric

Lola is designed for lightweight non-stretch wovens with good drape. Suitable fabrics include lightweight chambray, voile, challis, double gauze, and lightweight crepe, through to sheers such as chiffon and georgette. For a dressy version, try silk crepe de chine, satin, or lace.

Fabric requirements

You will need a maximum of 30cm/0.4 yards more than the fabric requirements for the base Lola pattern.
The fabric requirements allow for directional prints. Allow extra fabric if lengthening the garment, or matching large-scale prints. 

Skill level

This addition to Lola uses beginner-friendly techniques. The Lola pattern contains some techniques suitable for intermediate sewers, but confident beginners can sew it too. For an easier sewing experience, pick a more stable fabric. 

Sizing

Available in sizes 28 - 48. 

Our model wears a size 34, in the medium bust fit style and the boat neck view. She also wears our free pattern, the Gemma tie belt in some photos. The sample is made in a sheer silk.

Forget-me-not patterns are designed for a height of 5’6” (168cm).
