Important note: This is not a full pattern, just an expansion that works with the Vera, Iris, and Sylvie patterns.
This expansion is an easy way to add a scoop neck to your knit top. It is compatible with the Forget-me-not Iris tee, the Vera top, and the Sylvie top patterns. The template has a front and a back neckline piece, as well as a neck band piece. The scoop neck template is used as an overlay, so you can cut an alternate neckline without having to deal with confusing overlapping lines at the neckline area.
What you get:
This product is a digital download and includes printable PDFs of the pattern pieces in both A0 (for large format printing at copy shops), and A4/US Letter size (for printing at home).
Included with the pattern is a fully illustrated instruction booklet with step by step directions to using the expansion template, as well as sewing.
Special features:
- Your PDF files are layered! You can choose to print only the sizes you need.
- Expand the versatility of your Vera, Iris, and Sylvie knit top patterns. This is an easier option to sew than the V-neck that comes with the Vera top.
- Learn how to sew a scoop neck band on a knit garment, with step-by-step instructions and diagrams.
This scoop neck addition is suitable for beginner sewers. For easier sewing, pick a more stable knit fabric such as cotton jersey, or double knits.
Available in sizes 28 - 52.
Our model wears a size 34.
Forget-me-not patterns are designed for a height of 5’6” (168cm).
See our sizing page for our sizing charts and additional information.
Forget-me-not patterns are designed around an averagely curvy figure with a B-cup bust and a height of 5’6” (168cm).
If your body type differs from our measurements, do not worry! Depending on where the pattern is fitted, you may not need to worry about variations in figure. If needed, you are also able to grade between sizes to customise the fit to yourself. If in doubt, you should generally choose the size up from the size the chart indicates to ensure enough room in your garment. You'll find guidance in each individual pattern booklet as well.
We are working on expanding our sizing, which means all our new patterns go up to size 56, but some of our older patterns only go up to size 48 or 52.
Many of our patterns offer cup sizing in small, medium and full, but not all. Check the sizing section of each product page to see the size range and fit options offered.
